Quimera Galleria
Buenos Aires

Quimera functions as a platform for the development of curatorial, exhibition, educational, and editorial projects. It represents an intermediate generation of contemporary artists and fosters interdisciplinary dialogue by providing space for cycles, projects, artists, and curators within its venue. In 2015, it launched its own publishing imprint, Q·Editora, with bilingual publications accompanying its exhibitions, and in 2016 added an alternative exhibition space, Qubo, for site-specific proposals. Since its inception, the gallery has opened new markets and introduced Argentine artists to unexplored destinations. Over the years, it has succeeded in placing works by several of its artists into important international collections. The gallery is part of Meridiano and works actively toward the development of the local art scene.
