CBP has introduced audiences to important contemporary voices from across the region, such as Claudia Alarcón & Silät, Patricia Domínguez, Paz Errázuriz, Coco Fusco and Sheroanawe Hakihiiwe. The gallery has also played a role in bringing the work of pivotal 20th century Latin American artists to the world’s attention. Some of these names include Alfredo Volpi and Willys de Castro – whose 2016 exhibitions at the gallery marked the pioneering Brazilian Modernists’ first exhibitions in the UK – as well as Feliciano Centurión, Victor Magariños D. and Katie van Scherpenberg.
