Débora Delmar is a conceptual artist whose practice engages with institutional critique through legal, architectural, and logistical processes. Working across installation, text, sound, and spatial interventions, Delmar develops detailed briefs that operate simultaneously as instructions and descriptions of her artworks. Her installations frequently draw on the minimalist, homogenized aesthetics of non-places, employing elements such as barriers, gates, surveillance technologies, scent, sound, and contracts to examine the regulation, manipulation, and restriction of the movement of goods and people.

Delmar moved to London in 2016 to study at the Royal Academy Schools, graduating in 2019. Becoming a British citizen in 2024 has further informed her recent work, particularly in relation to questions of mobility, bureaucracy, and belonging.

Recent exhibitions include ALLIANCE, Friends & Family, FR (2026); TRUST 2025, Stanley Picker Gallery, UK (2025); and LIBERTY & SECURITY, Jumex Museum, MX (2024.
