Ernesto Crespo García

Ernesto Crespo is a Cuban-born visual artist and stage designer based in Madrid, Spain. He graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts, San Alejandro (Cuba) in 2014, and later from the Higher Institute of Arts (ISA), where he specialised in Stage Design.
Storytelling has always been one of his central interests, and his practice currently explores different modes of narration. His work revolves around the construction of images through paintings, installation, and film. A deep understanding of scenography and a constant reflection on space and time are defining elements of his practice.
