Constanza Pulit is a London – based artist whose practice spans photography, printmaking and sculpture.

Working from photographs that are then distorted manually and through print processes, Pulit’s image-based practice leans into a translucent, wispy sort of eroticism. Soft-skinned women and lovers lie entangled with each other, or with flowers, or wires. Something feels desolate in the images, but irresistible. One thinks of the idealized avatars of a half-loaded video game, or the fleshless fantasms of AI dating simulators. Through an affection towards reflectivity, and dreamwork, Pulit decentres desire from its fulfilment. She instead lets it become vaporous, mingling with partial creatures who shimmer in unreal semiosis.

She holds an MA in Printmaking from Camberwell College of Arts (UAL). Her work has recently been exhibited at Richard Saltoun Gallery, Enclave Projects, and Somers Gallery. She is a current resident at The Revue Residency, hosted by Soho Revue..
