Alvarez Chida is a contemporary art gallery presenting exhibitions by emerging and established artists internationally. Working without a permanent space, the gallery stages presentations in partnership with institutions, project spaces, and distinctive venues, allowing each exhibition to respond to its context and fostering dialogue across geographic and cultural boundaries.
Its programme centres on artists whose practices negotiate memory, landscape, and perceptual experience across painting, sculpture, and installation. Through this itinerant model, Alvarez Chida builds sustained relationships with its artists while presenting their work across Mexico and abroad, within an international context that spans institutions, the fair circuit, and private collections.
